Vow Renewal Ceremony in Angus, ON

Celebrate the journey you've shared with a heartfelt ceremony that honours your commitment and the years you've built together.

Why Renew Your Vows?

Maybe you eloped and never had the big moment. Maybe you've weathered storms together and want to mark that resilience. Or maybe you just want to stand in front of the people you love and say it all again - because you mean it even more now.

A vow renewal isn't about legalities or paperwork. It's about you two. We work together to create a ceremony that reflects where you are today, not where you were on your wedding day. Whether you're celebrating five years or fifty, we'll make it feel like yours.

We serve couples across Angus and throughout Simcoe County, including Barrie and Collingwood. Your ceremony can happen in your backyard, at a favourite park, or anywhere that holds meaning for you both.

What's Included in Your Ceremony

We start with a conversation. You'll tell me your story - the real one, with the messy parts and the beautiful parts. Then I'll write a ceremony script that sounds like you, not like a template. You'll review it, tweak it, make it perfect.

On the day, I'll arrive early, handle the flow, and perform your ceremony with the same care I'd give a Traditional Wedding Ceremony. You can exchange new vows, renew your original ones, or skip vows entirely and just have me tell your story. It's your call. If you want a super simple approach, our Civil Wedding Ceremony style works great for renewals too.

Most couples choose a 15-20 minute ceremony, but we can go shorter or longer depending on what feels right. No legal paperwork, no stress - just the two of you and the people who matter most.

Making It Personal

This isn't your first rodeo. You know what you want and what you don't. Some couples bring their kids into the ceremony. Some do a private moment with just the two of them before guests arrive. Some recreate their original wedding, and some do the exact opposite.

I've done vow renewals for couples who wanted something as elaborate as a Custom Wedding Ceremony, and I've done them for couples who wanted the simplicity of an Elopement Ceremony. Both are perfect. The only rule is that it has to feel like you.

We'll talk through readings, music, rituals - whatever you want to include. And if you're not sure what you want, I'll ask the right questions to help you figure it out. We serve couples in Alliston, Angus, and surrounding areas, so logistics are always straightforward.

Timing and Pricing

Most couples book 2-4 months out, but we can work with shorter timelines if needed. We'll have at least one planning call, plus email check-ins as you finalize details. You'll get your ceremony script about two weeks before the date.

Pricing starts at $300 for a straightforward renewal ceremony. If you want something more involved - longer ceremony, additional planning time, travel to a location outside Angus - we'll talk through options. No hidden fees, no surprises.

You're celebrating something real. Let's make sure the ceremony honours that. Reach out and we'll start planning.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a marriage license for a vow renewal?

Nope. You're already married, so there's no legal paperwork involved. A vow renewal is purely ceremonial - it's about celebrating your relationship, not making it official. That means we can focus entirely on creating a meaningful experience without any bureaucratic steps.

Can we include our kids in the ceremony?

Absolutely. A lot of couples use vow renewals as a chance to include children who weren't around for the original wedding, or who were too young to remember it. We can write them into the ceremony in whatever way feels right - a family pledge, a small role, or just acknowledging them. It's your ceremony, so we'll build it around your family.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book 2-4 months out, which gives us plenty of time to plan and write a ceremony that feels personal. That said, if you're working on a shorter timeline - maybe an anniversary is coming up fast - reach out anyway. We can often accommodate quicker bookings, especially for simpler ceremonies.
